Hi @heartshapedbox as you may be aware the devices we sell are refurbished models of popular brands. The devices are ones our vendors can provide in sizable quantity and in excellent quality. The Samsung models are the ones our vendors are able to source in large quantities. If we get sizable stock of other popular brands - which are in good conditions - then we would definitely stock other brands as well.

i totally love the idea to sell /e/ with refurbished phones, since every phone that doesn’t have to be produced helps to reduce a phones ecological footprint.

anyways, i think for this christmas i’m gonna have to find the phone somewhere else.

You can buy mi 8 on Aliexpress or somewhere else, unlock bootloader and install /e/ on it by yourself, it has officiall support https://doc.e.foundation/devices/dipper/
