Gigaset GS290 update from v0.16 to v0.17 without issues - /e/ (stable)

[SOLVED] Gigaset GS290 Update to 0.18 failed

Hey /e/ people, I got a Gigaset GS290. There’s /e/OS 0.17 installed and today I found 0.18 available for update in Settings–>Systemupdates. After download I tapped “install” and the phone reboots into eRecovery 0.14 at about 20%. But within eRecovery nothing happens. There’s no progress bar etc. visible, just eRecovery. When I choose to reboot the system manually the phone comes up again with 0.17. Do you have any advices for me? How can I perform the update? kind regards Chris

Look here for a fix. It worked for me. I have 0.18, now.
