Gmail and you tube not opening still since 10 days

There was an announcement on e/os Telegram about this issue, announcing an new update to come beginning of this week which will solve the problem.
Still no update received.
It’s long now… Any clue what is happening.

If you’re talking about the app versions of youtube and gmail then the release notes indicate the fix for these is out in v2.6.3 of e/os. So check if your phone is still supported and if it is then the update will arrive soon for your phone. My understanding is that the release of updates is phased,in that different phones get the update at different times and even users with the same phone might receive the update at different times.

As far as YouTube goes why not just use Newpipe? It just works :smile:

Could give Freetube a try?

Its a local Youtube “Account” that blocks ads / sponsor ads that are in the middle of the video. Cant comment on videos but can subscribe to channels so you have a feed of videos.
