Going back from /e/ os 2.2. to One Ui 2.1 from Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus DS possible?

Hi there,

i have to be honest i am new into flashing roms, so i tried my best with the Samsung Galaxy S10+ DS with /e/ OS 2.2 and it worked somehow. Even sometimes there were some hangings with the Appstore and Micro-G sometimes didn’t work…even my banking App worked like a charm and youtube in the beginning not, but then it did, don’t know why. Yet, kleinanzeigen App didin’t work and i am by work dependent on it. That’s why i want to go back.

Is there any possibility to go back to the Original Stock ROM i downloaded from samfw.com via Odin?
i get warning like the phone bootloader is unlocked, is it possible to lock it again?
This phone is not running Sansung’s official software…

If Yes, i would be grateful if someone would guide me back to my old OneUi And Android 12, IF it is possible.

I have also /e/ recovery and yes 2.2

Thank you so much in advance.

All the best.

(hope the OneUI rollback works out for you, not a Samsung user, anyway: gave the “com.ebay.kleinanzeigen” app a quick look, works-for-me-TM in /e/ v2.2 mirog 0.3.2.240 devicereg + cloudmessaging enabled… logged in, logged out… if you want to create a separate thread I’ll look into it)

Revert Samsung Device to stock ROM on Windows PC

What is you device model name/number ?
SM-G9xxX ?

Hi @ all and thanks for you answers.
1st i would like to say, even kleinanzeigen works now, i would have to revert it, since it’s not my mobile phone anymore since today, but a friend of mine, and she wants it the easy known way “one ui”.

SM-G975FCKGDBT

Thanks a lot!!!

not to disrespect what i said, it was my phone, but i want to give it to a friend of mine, who needs it more then i, since i have a samsung galaxy s20 fe 4g. It was a short term idea and solution.

I hope there is any possiblity to get it back to Stock ROM. With bootloader closed and so on.

This is a serious problem,
if i use with my S10 plus the combination mentioned in the link it will end in an endless cycle of bootloop without going into the recovery mode anymore :frowning:

or example if it is the S9 then press Bixby + Power + Volume down. The Bixby button is the one below the volume button on the s9

if i use bixby power on button up it goes into safe mode, but impossible to get into another mode

i cannot get into recovery mode even after i reset the phone

Fuck yeah, i got into download mode

So you need latest

https://samfw.com/firmware/SM-G975F/DBT/G975FXXSGHWC2

You are quoting the example for a different device Samsung S9. If you have Info about Samsung Galaxy S10+ - beyond2lte your boot modes are

Recovery

With the device powered off - Reboot and immediately hold Volume Up + Bixby + Power while the device is connected to a PC via USB cable

Download

With the device powered off - hold Volume Down + Bixby and connect USB cable to PC

Thank you so much!
When i go to download mode, i see CICC: MAX7705 hw: A main: 1A

does it have any influence with the from you mentioned firmware?

yes, i found it out
Thank you!

i now have to work and sleep. i will read your answers later or tomorrow and then i go for it and hope it will work. When i “reflash” it with Odin does it automatically close bootloader and restore all error messages?

Hi,
It would be awesome anyway, since i installed it without geolocation blocking, logged in…damn my account was shut down and my whole ip range. I am not aware i would have made something wrong. Even it was just for like a day, always the same and i didnt want to risk a permanent block.

So if you could look into it. Many germans would move to /e/ anyway.

so I’d rather guess it’s using AP ip-hide (Tor) then that trips up kleinanzeigen? might make lots of sense as the platform struggles with fraud

OK, i flashed thr phone, it worked, yet i had to do a factory reset AND i locked the bootloader again.
Thanks so much!

i didn’t use Tor while login in, it just said ip range is blocked. It has many many trackers in general, maybe they are even used so that this app can work, ha.
