The fpcamera is not open source. By “popular demand” com.fps.camera from the Fairphone Android OS build was added to the /e/OS FP6 build. This camera can be deselected in favour of OpenCamera in Settings.

OK, that explains it.
One might still expect steps taken to remove or “degoogle” any “active” Google component (??).

Probably because I did not install google lens
