I’m running /e/OS 2.9 on my Fairphone 4. Since a couple of days, the default topographic background map within Google Maps does no longer work - it just gives me a very light-grey background, as if there would be no map available. When switching to the aerial/satellite background map, everything works smoothly.
I already disabled Advanced Privacy and cleared data and cache, but without luck.
If you are discussing about the default mode of Google Maps, it is working for me on a OnePlus 8 pro with v3.0 with Advanced Privacy enabled as well as disabled.
Yes, but without luck. First I cleared the cache - no luck. Then I cleared the app storage - no luck. Now I reinstalled the app two times, still no luck.
Hi, same here. I’ve a Galaxy S9 and a pixel tablet. Same on both.
Found that using an old version of maps works.
Google is modifying everything to stop custom roms. Probably linked.
Hi. I had the exact same problem for the two last month, until i find this post tonight, cleared data and cache… and it’s working fine now… My phone is Fairphone 4 with /e/OS 2.9 and then 3.0.2.
