To prevent possible conflicts with the e-Recovery “S” vs. “T”, I install a manual upgrade without data loss as follows:
-
download latest recovery file, e. g. named recovery-e-2.1-t-20240605406922-dev-bonito.img
-
install /e/OS-T Recovery V2.1 via
fastboot flash boot recovery-e-2.1-t-20240605406922-dev-bonito.img -
in e-Recovery V2.1 > Apply update > Apply from […] e-2.1-t-20240605406922-dev-bonito.zip

Reboot system now
