So I installed Android Auto recently, which of course included the Google app. Not ideal, but as long as I can prevent it from running in other instances its good enough for me for now.
But now it somehow enabled itself as standard assistant app: When I long-press the home button, it pulls up voice assistant. I checked in the settings, it has no permissions, no links opened by default, no other allowed things and I have no assistant app set.
And it set itself as standard weather app: Upon pressing the weather icon on my “At a glance” widget from Lawnchair, even though that is still set to ‘Accuweather’ in settings.
Anyone with the same problem? Anything to solve this?
