hi, gs290 users,
the battery of my gs290 is swelling, not too much at the present time. I did not observe any heating of the phone.

I asked Gigaset (now chinese) if it was possible to change the battery : they told me to contact Cordonweb at Nimes.

As there are no more security-updates from Android for this phone (A12), I consider to replace my gs290 (by a Teracube?) : I will have used it for nearly 4 years.

It was the cheaper of the e-phones proposed end of 2021, and it was a fine way to experiment a successor of the Firefox-OS-phone.

I appreciate the effort of the e-team to assure 5 years of life to the e-phone they propose. Brieucs.

hi, GS290 with /e/OS users,
good news : among others phones (FP3, Murena, Galaxy), there could be an upgrade to A15 for the GS290, through manual reinstall (see week 49) :

GS290* - A12 - A15

and Teracube-s is no more in Murena price list.

very useful if the /e/OS-A15 become available for the Gs290.
I have read some time ago that A15 could be adapted for old phones, and it was not a dream

i run e-3.2-a13 on my 2013 Galaxy s4+, (i know lineage-a14 is possible).
