I can hardly hear my GS290 when I’m on the phone. The volume is very low, even though I have already set it to maximum. How is it with you? Is this a known problem? Is there a solution?
Yes it was the same for me, I had to really strain to hear the caller. I found no solution to the low volume. I eventually replaced the GS290 as my solution. I thought it was a poor mobile phone with underwhelming hardware.
Same problem with me too… The earpiece call volume is to too low. I have 2 Gigaset GS290 handsets both manufactured in different months. I have installed eOS on both of these handsets and the in-call volume has dropped too low on both the handsets, compared to original stock Google Android. The low in-call earpiece volume has been in eOS versions 1.xx, 2.xx and now even on eOS 3.xx versions, which was updated recently in this month of June 2025.
