Help! Disconnected while Flashing, now stucked at Bootloader

Help!

While using the Web Installer, I got an error after the second reboot at step 1x/17: “disconnected”. Then I restarted the Web Installer but the phone didn’t connect. Then my phone didn’t boot. Then I entered the e/ recovery mode (volume up + power bottom) and here I erased everything, because I thought this will help. Now, only the unlocked bootloaders starts on any options I select. I can’t access the e/ recovery anymore. How can I flash / continue from here?

I tried to connect but my phone don’t get recognized by the Web Installer. Also, I can’t skip the first 10 steps or so in order to arrive where the error appeared.

The web installer is a black box why something doesn’t work is unknown. I wasn’t able to figure it out after hours of testing.

What model do you have?

Maybe you can try from this explanation here:

If it applies, then itmis more or less 3 steps until it is finished.

Are you on Windows or Linux?

… and if you are inclined to think the phone is harmed … it is not, as long as have working Fastboot mode. Now you can pick up the instructions from that point. If you need more specific help you should mention your phone model. All supported phones have manual or command line page linked from Smartphone Selector.

Thank you. macOS (M4) i am on

I don’t get it, I have downloaded platform tools but don’t know how to operate the terminal.

Thank you. macOS (M4) i am on.

Can someone hop on to a screenshare session e.g. via Zoom with me? I’m willing to pay.

on macOS it is as same as on linux

only the screenshots will change…

agian, I said I can’t use the terminal. I don’t understand it how to operate with file paths, connecting the phone, ADB etc… the instrucations are only for adcanced users.

Then your options are find somone who can or try to return the phone.

Since we don’t know which device you have, we can’t be specific… Fairphone for example charges you a small amount to restore back to stock.

This tutorial has been linked on the forum previously Introduction to command line · HonKit.

From a clue you may find some inspiration here [HOW-TO] Flash /e/-OS on Fairphone 3 using Debian based GNU/Linux, keep an eye out for any slight deviations using Mac.

NO, it is only copy / paste action from the user side…
