An update to keep people informed about this work. I found that the key is to understand first AOSP and compile android before using OmniRom and try to compile TWRP.
I am taking note to write a kind of beginners how-to, but in French (you may have understood 
)
I have short time for this work every day, so I keep going but not fast as I wish.
