Helsana application - login is impossible

I have a Fairphone 6 with Murena 3.4.

I have installed the Helsana application which is used to manage health insurance details from the so called company.

Unfortunately after receiving the SMS with the OTP code and submitting it, the app is stuck loading and login is never successful. I have tried on another regular Android device and it works with the same app version (2.28.3)

I have tries with professional mode using Shelter, freezing microG without any success.

I didn’t have tried to see if there are some logs available yet using adb.

I do not use the app because it contains two trackers. I use the website on a PC with 2FA on my mobile. This works always as expected.

Do you have a private DNS or firewall like RethinkDNS or Netguard? Try to exclude your app from this. Or switch this generally off, just for a test.

You can also exclude your app from Advanced Privacy, for a test.

I have already tested to allow the trackers but it doesn’t solve the issue unfortunately (just forgot to mention it in the description). I don’t use a private DNS or firewall.

Of course if there is no alternative I will use the web app. It’s just more convenient to use the app.

Hi, I’m glad to report that since the latest version of the Helsana App (2.28.5), it now works well!
