In Android 11, there was a neat setting called Hide player when the media session has ended:

This was very handy because it automatically removed the media player from the taskbar when e.g. I finished listening to a podcast episode.
Now with /e/OS 2.1, the media player even remains there if an episode or a song has finished, thereby requiring me to swipe it away manually.
Can this somehow be changed? Or was the setting simply removed from vanilla Android?
