Home Assistant announces development of its own voice assistant

Not related to mobile phone OS, but rather to the section ‘news from the family’ of innovative open source initiatives:

The team behind the Home Assistant (an open source and local solution of connecting home devices - federating bulbs, plugs and any other kind of home equipment) recently announced the development of an open source voice assistant for Home Assistant. Basically a kind of an ‘Alexa’ (with a different name) as it should have been from the beginning onwards - open source, transparent and… just open.

Impatiently, I am waiting for trying it out…
