(I’m using the newest version of eOS from July 2024.)

I can’t find a few homescreen functions that are normal on other Android OSs, can you please explain how to do these things? Or are all of these functions really missing completely?

  1. placing the app icons wherever I want (and not having them automatically stack up from the top left to the bottom right).
  2. placing a widget not on the most left screen, but on the main homescreen (one of my apps was able to do it, but I don’t know how to move the other widgets from the left screen to the main homescreen.)
  3. changing the order of the widgets on the left screen.

To my best knowledge:

  1. Not possible with bliss launcher
  2. dito I guess
  3. delete widgets and place them anew in the order you wish from top downwards

You can install any launcher you wish that may allow the expected options… not sure though about widgets in other launcers but bliss…

The widget reorder thing is truly a inconvenience…
