How can I enable UnifiedPush in Fennec Browser?

I’ve ben trying to enable unified push in Fennec for quite a while now, but it doesn’t seem to work - at least not with e/OS’ builtin ntfy. If I enable “Use Unified Push” in the Fennec settings, it will switch back to disabled as soon as I leave the settings.
Other Apps (Pachli, Molly, FOSS Warn) are working flawlessly with e/OS’ ntfy.
Has anybody managed to get it up and running in Fennec?

I have molly and tried to activate unified push without success for now. Your insight is interesting for me ^^

Hi Didou, the linked thread offers the latest setup/config of the different components that must work together for UP in Molly (functional for a number of users for quite some time now).
If you have questions beyond that or regarding details, just ask over there and we try to figure it out together (the thread is still open…)
