I have virtual bank card. I can pay in the web, but I can’t use my phone as payment device / NFC.
What kind of options do I have?
I was thinking to buy cheap smart watch and attach bank card.
Thanks for the ideas.
Why is that? Is it a technical limitation?
Usually I use google pay for it.
With murena I don’t have google infrastructure, microg instead. I don’t know how to attach bank card to murena phone.
Use the payment app of your bank. Usually you can install your banking card there, so you can use it via NFC.
How it should be possible if i cant install google pay on murena phone?
Well, install the app of your bank, like I said. Not Google, your bank!
I already have app of fin tech company - Edenred. It allows to order physical card or ADD card to GPay.
Then this is their technical limitation. Perhaps you can find a dedicated pay app from them, that can access the NFC chip. I have such a solution with my bank…
can’t do Google Pay in a microg Android. As my previous poster said, you’d need a bank that implemented the nfc part independently - Alternatives to Google Pay? - #2 by tcecyk
Watch was my solution.
I bought a “stupid” watch = Swatch (with NFC chip). Due to payment card limitations, I have to use Curve as a middle man.
Anyway, this combo has been working flawlessly so far.
Out of interest: What bank is it that you are using that has its own Payment App that can access NFC and it accepted by payment terminals in stores?
It is a small “Volksbank” in Germany. The app is called “VR Pay”.
