How does App lounge mitigate corrupt apps?

Hi. As we all know google playstore is a magnet for corrupt apps… How does app-lounge differ in its filtering out of them.

Thanks Luka

As far as I now, it doesn’t differ. If an app is available in the Play Store, it will also be available in App Lounge, whether or not is is ‘corrupt’.

Realistically, if Google with all their technical and financial resources can’t keep such apps out of the Play Store, however much they try, why would you expect a small organisation like the /e/ Foundation / Murena to do any better or any different?

as petefoth writes - adding that there’s no replacement for play-protect - a mechanism to weed out Apps that got marked malicious when already installed on the device.

Is it technology ? Or ethics?.Google sells libraries and API’s and requires coders to sell and advertise…Google has motives for negligence…detecting abuse of code written in a manor that violates GOOGLES own terms of use and its privacy policies it has to be detectable how can you have them and not enforce them…I think it’s negligent laziness to not audit and scan for violations. If /e has the smarts and the ethics to usurp google then I feel it IS. Possible.google has a long history of violations…

To provided a clean list of apps only requires the will to do so
