How get notifications from Twitter?

Hi, I do not get notifications of new tweets despite the icon in Twitter shows that notifications are enabled. Bug, feature or missing setting? Thanks

How about microG settings ?

Twitter use “push notification” (gogol service)

Thanks. I don’T think I need to change anything there. My banking apps and Signal are sending notifications just fine.

Try using a different client. When I was using Twitter, I used the Twidere app from F-Droid. As I recall notifications worked fine, but that was on earlier versions of /e/OS.

Seems like the microG settings did the trick. Twidere did not work for me.

Still feels weird that Twitter needs microG but the other apps dont. I thought they all use the same push framework.
