How to enable 2FA?

For 6 months, I have been unable to enable 2FA on my murena account.

Everytime after scanning the QR code and entering the code, the spinner wheel spins forever. After reloading the page, it says that OTP is enabled but, it isn’t.

I first tried 6 months ago and I tried again today, same bug. This happens both on Firefox and Chrome.

I am not sure how anyone has been able to enable 2FA recently?

The server was unable to complete your request.

2FA for what? The Murenacloud like you tagged it?

Yes for murena cloud, sorry I did not mention.

I vaguely recall that I had the spinning wheel problem too, but for me 2FA was enabled.

I use the Aegis app to process the QR code, maybe that is worth a try?

I did not do anything special.

Are you sure it really is enabled ? For example for me, after reloading the page it seems to be enabled but the 2FA is never asked and the application passwords do not work.

I am also using aegis but it isn’t resolving my issue.

It might be that your date/time is not in sync with the time on the server…?
