How to encrypt my phone and install Magisk?

Hello everyone.

I decided to check how encryption works and got an error, below is a screenshot.

Testing on a Samsung Galaxy S7 phone

My steps:

  1. Installed /e/OS

  2. Encrypted, the system asks to enter the password that the user came up with during the installation of the system, then the phone rebooted and I saw the /e/OS splash screen, usually there should be another splash screen with encryption and time.

I had to manually reboot the phone, which asked me to enter the password.

  1. Then I rebooted the phone into Recovery mode to install Magisk (I use 3.7.0_9.1)
and when trying to install Magisk I got an error.

Can anyone confirm whether encryption works or does not work in the new stable version?

Regain your privacy! Adopt /e/OS the deGoogled mobile OS and online servicesphone

I want to inform you that encryption with Magisk and /e/OS does not work on this build and phone model, I tried different versions of Magisk but it did not work!
After that, I tried to install recovery from /e/OS and there were also problems, adb sideload does not work! I see "unauthorized" in the terminal! Fix unauthorized device error in adb => it didn’t help!

I had to transfer the zip image of /e/OS to a flash drive and then install it. Encryption was successful! Then I started installing Magisk and this was also a problem because I received a message that the Magisk zip file was not verified, I clicked YES and continued the installation, everything was installed.
