In the end the only way I managed to restore my WhatsApp was logging in with Micro to my google drive (not on handset). Now I know I can set to local or alternative backup, however my screen does not give me the option to highlight to change account or give an alternative…the only automatic back up - off. Any ideas would be appreciated.
