How to reset fingerprint on Pixel 7a after changing a broken screen?

Hello,

I have a Pixel 7a on /e/ since last year, but I broke the screen last month.

I change it with a genuine screen from ifixit, and need to calibrate screen + fingerprint.

I go to https://pixelrepair.withgoogle.com/ for a system update (but don’t really understand what it’s doing).
After some failures for downloading the system update, the soft try to upload the update to the phone through USB, but fails.

Are there other people who have to deal with this case?
Or maybe there is another way to make the fingerprint work again ? (this is my main issue, as the screen is OK for me).

Thanks for your info !

To use the Goolag fingerprint calibtation software the Pixel 7a (lynx) must be running the original Goolag Stockfirmware Android 13.0.0 (TQ3A.230805.001, August 2023)

If everything works properly, /e/OS-T e-2.2-t-20240717417775-dev-lynx can be reinstalled.

I manage to make it work without reinstalling original firmware on an pixel 6
It wasn’t easy.

Oh great!
Did you just follow the ifixit tuto?
Or did you do something else?
I didn’t reinstall the original Google build, so if you have another way, I will try it!
