Our local movie theater chain is basically forcing everyone to use their app in order to buy tickets and reserve seats at the theater, but I seem to be having an issue using it on /e/. On /e/, the app mostly works fine until it comes time to select the seats. The seat selection screen loads, but then I get a pop-up error message that says “Connection Error - The page could not be loaded. Please try again.” and I am unable to complete the purchase because some of the buttons in the app don’t work after this message.
The issue seems to be specific to /e/, as I have validated that the app works properly on both LOS 15.1 (no Gapps), MicroG’s LOS 15.1 build, as well as LOS 15.1 + OpenGapps.
I’m not sure how to troubleshoot what is causing the issue, any advice would be appreciated.
