How to unsync Music, pictures and videos with murena cloud

Hi there,

i have a FP5 with e/os 2.3t.
I’d like to chose which data to sync with murena cloud.
I have the free plan with 1gb and its always full because it always syncs pictures and videos automatically.
I only want to sync Adressbook, App-Settings, Tasks, contacts, calender and notices.
In other topics i have seen, that the users have buttons to disable/enable it in Settings->Accounts->Murena.io->… I dont have these buttons there. I can only start syncing there the different parts.
Then in other topics i read to put a .nomedia file in the picture folder. This doesn’t work either.

Is there someone who has an idea?
Is it a known issue? It seemed to me that there isn’t only me with this problem.

Than no files where synchronized. I use the nexcloud app for syncing files on my FP5, cause I have an external storage

Thank you for your answer.
Unfortunately i don’t have these Buttons to enable/disable the parts to sync.

In my Settings it looks like this:

As you can see there aren’t the green buttons to activate - deactivate the different parts to sync :frowning:

And though there isn’t shown a date of the last sync time for “Bilder und Videos” it synced all my pictures…

I vaguely remember it might take deleting and then re-adding this account.

Thanks for your idea. But this also didn’t work :frowning:

I deleted this account, restarted my Smartphone, and added the account again - Same problem: Can’t choose what i want to sync…

A workaround I use for music is to put it into a directory different from the default “Music” e.g. “music-nosync”. The music player will still scan everything and find it, but it doesn’t get sync’ed
