I can’t use Mail the way I configured. I imported the mail settings of quite a number of email-adresses from a Thunderbird-client. Unfortunately I don’t see the mails I expected. Maybe some form of authentication is necessary, but I don’t see the opportunity to add or change the passwords. Maybe there should be a change in the servername? My mails are on my domain, Proton, Murena, gmail.
There is a help for the settings in Mail by Manoj, with a link to the user manual to K-9. This link leads to the well-known 404-error. And now I’m confused what to do.
In this forum I see some questions about configuring /e/-mails in Thunderbird, but I wanted to arrange the other way around: reading my mails on some 12 mailadresses in /e/-mail in a good way. Thunderbird is not very nice on /e/OS
An internet search for k-9 user manual might find https://docs.k9mail.app/, but it says “The user manual for K-9 Mail has been abandoned because we don’t have the resources to keep it up-to-date.”, linking to the historic version https://docs.k9mail.app/en/6.400/, which says “This user manual is deprecated. Please ask for help in the user forum instead.”
What exactly do you expect? Please provide more detail.
This would imply that you don’t see any emails at all, is this the case?
Existing account settings are in the Mail app - (menu) - Settings - (select account) - Fetching mail (or Sending mail, respectively) - Incoming server (or Outgoing server, respectively)
