Infinix hot 9 play

There are different models of the Infinix Hot 9 Play and thus different firmware. So first determine which model your device is:

X680 - 32/2GB MediaTek MT6761 Helio A22
X680B /C/ /E/ /F/ - 3/32 GB / 3/64 GB - MediaTek MT6762D Helio A25

Factory first with Android 9.0 Pie; meanwhile Android 10.0 is available, I recommend installing the latest possible stock Android 10.

Unlock bootloader first.

Try the TWRP recovery that fits your model. Rooting is not absolutely necessary.

In TWRP:
Select Install – Install Image – [ your /e/GSI ‘Q’ image ] – select “System Image” and Swipe to confirm flash.

Without TWRP:
fastboot flash system system.img [ your /e/GSI ‘Q’ image ]
