Is it possible to import passwords into the password manager that’s built into the browser?
If so, how do I do that?

Did you try Autofill? It switches to the password manager (e.g. NC Passwords from F-Droid) and sends back the login and password to the website.
I was hoping not to need an extra PW manager. Previously I used the build in PW manager for Firefox on both my PC and phone. Switched to LibreWolf after they removed their promise to not sell user data, but there is no LibreWolf on Android (yet). On Linux I can just remove pre-installed browsers, but Android disallows that. Why not put the Browser in the App Lounge and let people decide which one is installed? Ideally the same should be the case for all not strictly necessary apps. I’m someone that likes to keep the number of programs installed to a minimum, especially now that Android 14 puts all the Apps on the home screen with no option to hide them. Sorry for my rant.
The nc password manager is foss, no problem with that one.
I understand what you mean, but no comfort without additional apps.
The browser in e/OS/ does not accept add-ons. And it does not always Finish log-ins the right way. E.g. the DB Navigator app does not log into the account with the browser. That’s why you might need something else, too.
Yeah there are many FOSS password managers. I used KeePass this time.
I notized that the cromite fork doesn’t accept add-ons other than preinstalled Adblock Plus. I feel like Ublock origin would have been a better choice but Goggle is coming after them with Manifest V3. So maybe that was the reason why they choose Adblock Plus.
