eOS is known to use a lot of outdated software. it is a problem that many are apparently willing to accept…but when could we have at least an important software such as the browser that is up to date and that is not abandoned like bromite? and when will the usual request by many users to be able to eliminate and replace the default applications be implemented?

Planned, and we also made some attempts at getting it to work. Unfortunately, it proved to be too complicated and had to be dropped.

Uninstall default apps

You can uninstall pre-installed Apps. Whether “easily” applies is subjective. Sadly there seems to be a trend by Murena to favor new and exciting products instead of make the existing products better. I’ll stay around for another couple of months but if there is no clear intention to have security and usability as a priority Im going to search for something else… Hope there will be a good future ahead.
