do you already have a custom recovery manager installed ?

if not (comming from stock), fisrt install latest android 13.0.0 (TQ3A.230901.001, Sep 2023) based stock OS to follow the “official way”.

then Install /e/OS on a Google Pixel 5 - “redfin”

nothing installed yet : I have not yet received the phone which is a refurbished with android 11 pre-installed. Could I OTA update to google android 13 from this stock version pre-installed ? Then install /e/OS using easy installer ?

I am affraid system update from the phone, lead to latest android 14 based gogolOS

But from recovery you can install the android 13 one
(there are too download links) one for install using adb and the other is for install using fastboot

also direct install /e/ should works as T builds are expected to include needed updated firmware parts.
