Install on Samsung S7 SM-G930F

I’m trying to install on a Samsung S7
According to the output, below everything looks OK.
The Screen on the phone is still in download mode
However, I can’t find a way to power off the phone and boot into recovery mood.
The only way I can make the phone to react is “Volume down - Home - Power button” which resutls in phone booting back to Samsung Android.

Any ideas?

Hello @danfan, first of all:

Which StockROM Android firmware does your S7 currently work with?

What PDA code (build version) did your current firmware have?

You can find this information in the S7 via > Settings > About phone > Software Information > Build number, e.g.: R16NW.G930FXXS7ESL9

Hi @danfan,
I installed /e/ on Samsung S7 a week ago and I had the same problem. I solved it this way:

  1. From download mode you get out by pressing “Volume down - Home - Power button”.
  2. Then you have to immediately (!) press “Volume Up + Home + Power button” and the phone will boot into recovery mode.
Important: Don’t wait between steps 1. and 2. otherwise your phone will boot back to Samsung Android.

Thanks for your reply. I’ve been away for a couple of days. I’ll soon try it out.
