Can I install the original proprietary camera application that came with the phone (Sony Xperia 1 V XQ-DQ54 pdx234)? I want to, because photo quality suffered severely when moving to /e/OS default camera app.
Presumably the Sony camera application could be extracted from one of the .sin packages in the original flashable Sony ROM?
The unified installation guide seems unsure whether it would work without DRM security keys: “Once you have unlocked the bootloader, you will not be able to revert the device back to a locked or original state or restore the DRM security keys. Without these keys, some advanced functionality in e.g. Sony camera and audio apps may no longer work.”.
I wish I had tested it right after unlocking, but the instructions didn’t remind me to, so now I don’t know if it needs the keys or not.
