Internet connection problems

Just now, I have discovered that neither my FP5’s or Pixel Tablet can connect to wifi, using my 4G router, which uses a Lebara (Vodafone sim) / router (Archer MR600). I am not sure when the problem started exactly because the phones were both using mobile data through their own sims (Smarty / Three) and that is still working fine. All my other devices are connecting to the wifi router fine (Fedora, Linux Mint and RPI 4b) although I tried rebooting it just to make sure. I also removed Mullvad off my phone in case that was causing the problem. And I tried forgetting the connection and recreating it. As a test, I also connected the pixel tablet to my phone hotspot, and that worked fine.
if it hadn’t been for the fact that our other devices are connecting to the router OK, I would have thought either the router or vodafone has a problem.
Has anyone else had a problem? Or has anyone else any ideas of anything else that I could try to track down what it wrong?
I should have also said that all devices are using e/os 2.9 and have been for a week or so, without any issues.

Don’t worry. I think it was all caused by an outage but, for some reason, the murena devices were affected before our other ones.

Not sure if this is related or not. I have had 5G for the whole time i hve had my phone( Murena 1) with no problems. Rogers, my ISP keeps interrupting phone calls with a message that their 3G service is ending and i have to get an “upgraded phone.”. Not sure what to do. I called and referred to my contract, which conveniently ended March 29. HELP. Contract was for 5G
I did get a warranty replacement several months after initial purchase…could that be a problem?

Not sure. But, the problem was definitely Lebara. The connection is OK again now. I wondered if it was just that the Murena devices are more sensitive to connection issues and react to a problem before the other devices. We don’t have 5G here, just 4G.

Are you sure that you actually didn’t have Internet over wifi?

Sometimes when the infrastructure of Murena has an outage (maybe rebboting servers, etc.) then the ping which checks some server can’t reach it and /e/OS thinks there is no internet even though there is.

Been there that wifi icon was showing ‘no internet’ but I was getting messages even with turned off mobile data.
