Is it possible for the email app to support imap keywords aka tags?
I’m looking to be able to crate/delete tags on the server (through the web), and also create rules such that when incoming messages match certain criteria, messages can tagged or assigned a particular keyword.
It would also nice to configure when marking messages as spam, to tag them as spam rather than sending them to the spam directory.
Such support would make things easier when using notmuch on a PC for example. But when under a phone classification and rules are too expensive in terms of battery, so much better if the server does it.
There should be an inbox and a archive keywords and it would be nice archiving an email would mean just assigning it the keyword archive and removing the inbox one, but all this should be able to be controlled through the rules I guess…
Unfortunately I don’t see any of this available on rules that can be added on the filters settings. Is such a thing possible sever side?
But syncing such rules and behaviors across devices is not as simple, and as mentioned at least on phones it doesn’t make sense to turn on rules and classification…
