Kleinanzeigen App - can't log in

Hello fellows,
I installed the Kleinanzeigen app on my Pixel 7 running /e/OS. While the app itself works, I can’t log in. Every time I open the email to register the device, the process gets stuck on a green page with the Kleinanzeigen logo. When I click around on the page, I can access listings in the background, which means the app is functional, but I’m never redirected to the login page.

Has anyone experienced the same problem so far or maybe found a solution for it?

Regain your privacy! Adopt /e/OS the deGoogled mobile OS and online servicesphone

On my S10 with 1.19 this works but on my Fairphone i could not sign on at all so yes i have the same problem

Hm, for me, Kleinanzeigen works.
What version of /e/ are you using what version of the app have you installed?

I’d expect kleinanzeigen to penalize Tor, any chance hide-ip is active in advanced-privacy?

/e/OS: first 2.4 now 2.5
Kleinanzeigen V 100.25.00

That doesnt work. When I hide the IP-Adresse its blocked for spam reasons.

Interesstingly I have an Xperia 10 III with SFOS on which Kleinanzeigen works without Play Services or MicroG quite fine.

After reading the error message, I have the impression, there is a problem not with the app but your account

I suppose, when you try to login to your account from your computer via a web browser, you won’t be permitted neither.

I hadva similar behaviour some month back logging in from my Computer sometimss with sometimes without VPN Kleinanzeigen Blockes my account die to suspicious behaviour. For umblocking I needed to contact their customer service via email.

On my PC it works fine. The message just appears, when I hide my IP via the advanced privacy settings.

Strange.
Anyway, on my phone I run /e/OS v2.5 euth Kleinanzeigen v100.25.0 - and it works im my case

The webversion (browser) works on my phome as well.

Since the A14 update it works fine.

I’m not sure what this has to do with the above-mentioned topic, but feel free to explain.

Of course, every user is free to install any type of app. But …

… iInstalling a degoogled /e/OS and using a data thief like kleinanzeigen is already …

I know that the app is a privacy fiasco. If there were a third-party app that protects privacy, I would use it. To my knowledge, however, such an app doesn’t exist.
Privacy is just one premise I follow. Climate protection and resource waste are two others. I now buy a large part of the things I need or want to buy second-hand. Buying everything new that I need and throwing away everything I don’t need is not an option for me. The leakage of my data primarily concerns me personally. Resource waste and climate change affect millions of people around the world. Putting my personal data above the life circumstances of others feels selfish to me. Sorry!
