LG G5 H830: Do calls actually work?

I have an LG G5 I’m thinking about putting /e/OS on, but I’d like to know if IMS (VoLTE/Wi-Fi Calling) actually works with /e/OS. It doesn’t work with LineageOS due to some weird LG driver issues, and with the sunsetting of 3G networks this renders it unusable for actual calls with all US providers I know of. This problem was such a tough nut to crack that the Lineage people have given up on it entirely, so I worry /e/OS may have run into the same issue. I do need my phone to work as a phone.

(For a pocket computer with no call ability, I’m still using my old Samsung S4, which I would also still be using as my daily driver if it were possible honestly. It holds up well!)

Hi, I’d like to know the answer to this too. Can anyone familiar with /e/ please help?

(I have the LG G5 h830 model running Android 7)

… then in all probability it will not work with /e/OS-T either, because …
