Hi @Kobus welcome to the /e/ users forum.

At the bottom of the OP is a pencil icon :pencil: to enable edit. However very new users, due to discourse forum trust rules may not have edit priviledges and do not see the :pencil: .

N26 app is working again on my FP3 with /e/ OS 3.3 official version (was broken since the 3.1.4 update)

Revolut is not working in xiaomi mi10t 3.3 release, so disagree with above message

@eboelens Is right, if you have official build and a locked bootloader chances are better that it works again (depending on device).

Your Xiaomi has none of that, you will need to tinker with shelter and so to make it work

On my Pixel 5 and updated to v3.3 Revolut it’s working as well.

Even with shelter it doesn’t work whereas boursobank is ok. Another bank app is working also on my smartphone with shelter : MCB juice pro but revolut not. These bank app are the worst thing in smartphones nowaday and the fail for /e/ or degooglised android devices

It depends on the bank. I have one bank, smartphone only, which works since I started with /e/OS (they even supported Huawei Smartphones when they couldn’t use Google anymore) never had issues. For others I try to have website possibility and not app reliant (other 2FA than app).

Therfore for Revoult (even with all the benefits) I suggest you to get rid of it.

AH, okĂ© thanks for your reply. I see I’m (yet) not privileged to make changes. I hope the list of banks working is updated, cause it helps people encouraging buying /e/is phones

MCB Juice Pro has a procedure for checking developer options. If this is enabled, the application will not work.

In my opinion, what should be improved in /e/ is to have an option in the configuration or a tool to check the status of the device in order to trick an application:

  • Option to hide an application’s ability to check the bootloader or consider it locked.
  • Have an appropriate build prop name. I think this part is now covered since the recent changes.
  • Option to indicate to novice users that developer options are enabled and that certain applications will not work as expected
  • Validate the 3 results of the Play integrity API checker.

This is possible in a complex way with Magisk, so why not in /e/

I agree, everything important for the apps should have the spoof option, and this would speed up the process of troubleshooting for the devs for the next release if anybody could toggle special spoof options and report back which option is working or not working. Obviously, only in developer options and multiple switches, but by default it should be disabled.

Hi all,

Boursobank app 7.57.6 on Pixel 7 unlocked with /e/OS 3.3-a15-20251210556408-official-panther, still not working (Not from Play Store issue). Shelter trick works fine.

Why are you keeping bootloader unlocked with ‘official’? Not sure if it will help for boursobank but you could

During first /e/OS install, bootloader relock failed and I nerve tried to lock it after, mostly because I don’t want to reinstall everything

But, if it’s the only way to fix this issue :man_shrugging:

I guess the relocking failed because of rollback protection of security patch. If so, then locking should work now.

As mentioned, if it will work I can’t tell. You need to check the previous post or the feedback of each version

Hello! N26 is working with /e/OS v3.3
Thanks a lot!!

Finally, I decide to re-lock the bootloader (same phone, same boursobank app, same /e/OS version), but I still have the “Oups ! The App you are using doesn’t come from Google Play store, blablabla
”
Because, I have always tried with an anonymous App Lounge login, I did it again but connecting App Lounge to an old google account
 getting the same issue.
So, I really don’t know what to do next

I keep this for boursobank as well.

@mihi We tried various things including relocking bootloader, magisk things but these bank apps as stated above are totally wasting time and unfortunately lack of interest into ungoogled os

Co-op banking app works again with v3.3 on FP3.

I believe AIB (Ireland) had a recent update which requires a Google account to be signed in via microG. Without this account present, I can’t login to the app due to a failing “security update.”
