Damned, I was so hoping for the POCO F5 (marble).

Sony Xperia 1 V pdx234

Great! I was really hoping for that one.

Fantastic

Hi, why are Samsung S8 and S9 not on the list? What is the roadmap for those models?

Thoose 2 devices are not ‘new’ devices and since they are also Murena devices they are also not part of the other list.

About the actual roadmap I can’t say anything cause usually when there is one, it will be posted officially by Manoj. I can only say both devices will get support as long as they can provide it.

I just bought a Xperia 10 vi XQ-ES54 but seems that is un unsupported model.

I give my fp4 where ive installed e/os/ to my wife. And i buy the Sony because It has an audio Jack. And now i m connected without control to Google :scream::face_with_symbols_over_mouth::rage:

I would love to see the Asus Zenfone 8 added to the list.

Itis not supported because asus stopped allowing the bootloader to be unlocked as I understand it.

There are a decent number of us (myself included) using it currently that unlocked our bootloader before it was blocked.

The device is still supported. I’m running /e/OS 2.5 T with just normal OTA updates. So while you can’t unlock the bootloader, if you manage to find one that’s already unlocked, everything else works just fine.

Correct. There was discussion about this previously and I was the one who initiated it. The supported devices until that time, included it but as it is no longer capable of being converted, it is no longer supported. The list of devices I believe now shows this.

hi, can you tell me when [lemonadep] will be ready for Android 14, so dont have to rollback to A13? thanks!

Device list updated … Motorola moto g7 play channel has been removed. Team had issues with the build due to which the device has been dropped. May be added at a later date if issues are resolved.

why the moto g7 power codename ocean is now a unofficial build?

Motorola Moto G7 Power - ocean gets a community (previously known as dev) build, e-2.6.3-u-20241219455571-community-ocean.zip available from /e/OS dev ocean download.

I have some doubts.

Now version 2.6.3 has build U. Before it had a build T.

Build T has among its features this:

The builds are made by /e/OS using /e/OS build infrastructure and signed by android test keys.

But Build U does not have “signed by android test keys”. What does that mean, will I have problems with banking applications?

I cannot answer about banking apps, I don’t use them. As I understand the “Build type” link above, for what it’s worth, Test builds are signed with test keys and Community builds are signed with dev keys.

ok I understand, but what does it mean that the U version does not have signed keys?

Where do you find this?

now I see that I got confused, the nomenclature is confusing, I’ll explain it. Before it said Android 13(T) and now it says Android 14(U).

I thought the T stood for T and the U for unofficial, but those letters correspond to the android version, or /e/OS ? Sorry for the confusion
