to bring https://omaps.app/test.html into this thread and make it clear

  • Magic Earth will handle the Urls successfully (1), (2) and (4), but FAIL at (3), (5), (6), (7)
  • UntrackMe can resolve the Shortlinks (5) and (6) to their destination, so finally
  • OrganicMaps can open then all of the GoogleMap links named here. MagicEarth cannot handle /places/ Urls, no matter if resolved from a shortlink or tagged with geo-coordinates
