Locking phone after installation (Pixel XL 2)

I’ve successfully imaged the phone and the system is working. :grinning: :+1:
However, I get a message before the phone boots up, that the OEM is still unlocked.
If I boot the system up and go into developer mode, the OEM locking feature is greyed out
If I boot into recovery mode and execute “fastboot flashing lock” I get confirmation the the phone is now locked; however when I reboot, I get a message that it cannot find the O/S. It will only boot to /e/ OS if I go back into recovery mode and unlock flashing.
Is there a way to fix this, or is it something I just have to live with?

I have the same problem with the Pixel 5. I am also interested in a solution.

Locking is not possible for taimen on dev build of /e/. Also, relocking is not indicated in the installation instructions, which generally means it is not possible.

For some pixels, such as redfin, dev and stable builds are available and relocking is described as part of the installation instructions. However it is not made clear whether relocking is possible for both builds or just stable. Just stable I suspect.
