I have this proboem, when i call someone or answear a call, the loudspeaker is automatically switched on and cannot be switched off. After switching the device on and off, it helped for a little bit, but the problem returned.
Did anyone had a similar problem? Any posible solutions?
Yes I have the same problem and no solution for now.
is it normal when I call or people call me on phone (without earings or bluetooh justvwith ears in nomal way) the loudspeaker is automatically activated…..and I can’t desactivated
so it s annoying that people around me in the street can hear conversation…..I tried another telephone app then the initial, it changes nothing
I have the same issue and unfortunately have not found a solution yet. I think this is a problem with version 3.2-a15-2025102253900. The update happended on 22th of october, which fits about wit the appearance of the problems.
In addition to the call on speaker problem, I also have other audio problems: I’ve turned my phone to ring loud on calls, though it will only vibrate, when I have my bluetooth headphones connected. Not even the ringtone over headphones, only the vibration. And when I connect my wired headphones through a USB-C to 3.5mm adapter, my alarm will not sound, only vibrate. Not sounding through the headphones.
I’m also on a fairphone 6. I installed e/OS myself through the provided installation routine. I hope the next update will fix this. Since I hear audiobooks before sleep, this bug makes my alarms totally useless.
I am using a FP5 with /e/OS 3.2 and I have the same problem: I cannnot turn the loudspeaker off during calls. The only solution I’ve found is using hedphones at all times.
I hope the problem will be solved by an upcoming update!
