I’ve got a Fairphone 3+ with /e/ OS v1.9. I set up the mail app with two Gmail addresses but it keeps producing duplicate notifications. It doesn’t seem to do that for my @e.email account, though.
Anyone have an idea how to fix this?

I have a Fairphone 4 running version 1.14, and I’m also seeing this issue.
By now I’m on v1.14 too and it is still happening.
Same on /e/OS 1.21. Three notifications per message.
It looks like this is due to the way Gmail structures its IMAP folders, which all get monitored by default for new mail notifications in the /e/OS Mail app. To make it send only one notification I configured the Notifications settings in the Mail app for each Gmail account and changed Notification folders from “All” to “Only 1st Class folders”.
@Manoj It might be good to move this thread to Settings or Applications because it’s a general /e/OS quirk that is not specific to a certain device.
