Maps (Magic Earth) out of memory

Went to a DIY store, item not in stock. Needed to use maps and keep getting this error message (Fairphone 3+ purchased from /e/):

Tried disabling all security apps, Notifications disabled, NFC disabled and profiles disabled.
When trying to start Maps, battery was at 30% and charging in car. Was running eOS 1.7 when got notification of 1.8. Having got home and updated to 1.8, still same issue with Maps.

I have seen similar when Advanced privacy, Fake my location, has me placed on another continent and Maps has a 4,000 mile journey to try to calculate.

Ensure that Advanced privacy, Fake my location, is set for real location.
