Message app: notification volume is too low with FP6

Hello,

the message app on my FP6 notifies with a too low volume, no matter that I increase the volume level for all notification categories. I tested with the default Message app 3.10.1 and even with Google Messages (shame on me…).
Is anybody else aware of this problem? Only with FP6 or also with other brands?

If you can’t make the notification sound louder in the global Settings then use an own notification sound instead of the default one and take loud one for this.

Unfortunately there is no setting to increase the notification sound for Message app only. The same is true for Google Messages. I gave it a further try with 3rd message app called DekuSMS, but with the same result. But: after I switched several time the ‘default SMS app’ from Messages to Google Message to DekuSMS and vice versa the somewhen Message app notified as loud as expected. I have no idea why :thinking:.
