MI MIX 2S: install e/ from a lineage firmware

Hi,
I plan to install e/ on a mix 2s on which lineage OS is installed (i just buy the phone, i did not manage lineage install myself); lineage os version is lineage!polaris!userdebug 14 AP2A,240905,003bae2ef50f3.

Question: can i install e/os last version directly following documentation from " Steps to install /e/OS from recovery" or do i need to manage anything before ?

basically yes, go into sideload in the recovery, then adb-sideload offer the image from the host . But you want to format /data beforehand.
