Using /e/OS

I chose e/os because I don’t want to use Google. But there’s a mysterious app called microG services, that seems to have links.with Google. What’s that app for? Can I just stop it (as it’s impossible to just delete it)?

micro g ist fine, it is the only way to use. You didn’t do your homework before startig to use e/OS/ ;).
