I have a blue dot in the status bar indicating that an app (Carte vitale - a french health insurance application) is using the microphone. However I’ve not allowed this app to do so and I’ve disabled microphone access globally.
Can it be an /e/os bug ? Or can an app bypass its authorizations ?
AFAIA, this blue dot indicates active location service.
It seems, that we’re both right: I got the blue dot, if I record audio, but also get it if I start GPS Cockpit, which has only permissions for Location and Notifications.
So it seems that this blue dot indicates several sensors, not only microphone, nor location.
Maybe others as well.
Yes, I agree with that, but my issue is that an app seems to use the microphone without being authorized to do so.
I dont’t know if it is really using it or if it is a bug
