Advised Backup soft?

I’ve tried out seedvault with LineageOS and have a bit of experience with it. First of all it’s meant to be a system app so that it doesn’t require to root the phone. That way, you can’t just install seedvault as an app, it needs to come with the OS. Which has the consequence that few people have experience with it/little information is available, as to my knowledge only Graphene OS and Calyx OS have it at the moment (for /e/ it’s in beta testing IIRC; for Lineage I had to build the ROM myself …

You can use TWRP on the Fairphone 3/3+, if you can live with the bootloader left open …

Backups, bootloader, root

As the second /e/ build for the Fairphone 3 is out, I took the opportunity to check whether my theoretical backup and restore procedure with an unlocked bootloader works with /e/ in practice, too. (It did work with the stock Fairphone OS, but better safe than sorry.) Made sure I kept the install file for the initial 20200428 build. Made a copy of the whole Internal Storage (because).
