I’m reading through the installation guide for the Redmi 8 (Mi439) and on the section “Installing a custom recovery using fastboot”, step 5 mentions an image file named super_empty.img.
Now, the file I downloaded from section “Downloads for the Mi439” (e-1.11-s-20230512288805-dev-Mi439.zip) doesn’t contain this file.
I checked the LineageOS equivalent for the downloads and there appears to be a super_empty.img in there. I assume this file has partition info, based on this comment I saw on Reddit.
Should I use the LineageOS super_empty.img? Will it cause any problems/issues?
